I think it's a tune made for the commercial.

In the middle eighties in Italy they did a commercial (Barilla, obviously pasta

) that became very popular because of "Hymne" by Vangelis. Not a synth band, but a synth one man band

Gary Numan did a version of Cars for Coke ( the drink ) I think and before that he did one for Lee Cooper jeans, but then being called Numanoid you probably knew that

Numan did a great series of commercial soundtracks for 7Up that ultimately weren't used. I think the US company wanted a happening new wave/punk thing, only Numan had already moved on by that point:
