Granted, the Combos are distributed as 'freeware'. I used the term 'donationware' as a slight provocation, indicating that in my view, anyone using these instrument should feel a moral obligation to contribute something.

And I reacted against the expression "for freebies", which seems to hint that the Combo couple wouldn't be up to par if considered payware.

I have uploaded Combo Model F v1.2.3 RC2.

Changes:

[Mac OS X] Fixed load/save MIDI map/tuning in GarageBand 10.
[Mac OS X] Fixed possible memory leaks on unload.
Updated to latest WDL/IPlug framework.

I have released Combo Model F v1.2.3.

Changes (since v1.2.2):

[Mac OS X] Fixed load/save MIDI map and tuning.
Fixed knee lever pitch wheel support.
[Mac OS X] Fixed load/save MIDI map and tuning.
[Mac OS X] Fixed font loading on Mac OS X 10.9.

I had a report a while ago that Combo Model F (VST) doesn't work in Cubase 7 64-bit on Mac OS X. In the 32 bit it does work. I have briefly tried ComboF in Cubase Elements 7, and there 64-bit does work, so does anyone else happen to know if there is an issue with ComboF and Cubase 7? Thanks!

I was able to pull it up and play it in ableton 9 osx. Seems to be working.

Running fine here in 64-bit with Cubase 7.5.30 on Mac OS X 10.8.5 (and now that Yosemite is out, I'm just about to take the plunge, and upgrade... to Mavericks!

Hmm... I recently had another report about this, so maybe there is a problem with ComboF in Logic X. I guess I will have to look into this.

Changes:

Fixed noise level depending on sample rate.
[Mac OS X] Slightly improved 32-bit overall CPU use.
Updated framework libraries (WDL/IPlug, libpng, r8brain-free-src).
