Testing

I'd like to do some testing with the effect plugins I have to try and get some concrete data about the character they have. What's the best way to go about this? Christian Budde has a tool I'll be looking at when I get home. Aside from this my best idea is just to put white noise/a sine wave (depending) at the input and a spectrum analyzer at the output.

I almost always use the VST analyzer, works great

Just loaded it up and it doesn't appear to work with 64 bit plugins. It won't work for me if that's the case.
