What are you saying? I didn't like the sound of the drums, what's wrong with that?

Post

Fine – so that's the reason. No problem! But you didn't say so in your OP.

I'm sure the midi grooves are fine, but I think I speak for quite a few when I say "nothing to see here"

Still, if it's for you, that's killer! Will look forward to your review!

Thanks for the heads up! Maybe when Uncle has a good discount… ;-)

Not for me - I think the point of Spitfire31's comment is that it's different to say "I don't like reggae" (oh no... I love it-ahhh) vs "I like reggae and this EZX doesn't do it well". Sounds like you were saying the former, which is kinda self-evident of any product and any genre.

Sounds like another quality EZX to me, doing very much what it's supposed to do, filling an important gap in the line up (and there can't be many of those left). Bought the Reggae midi yesterday (which isn't shared with the EZX) - not masses of grooves, but useful enough. I found the Jazz kit can work quite well with it, it has that great ringing crack across rim on some of the fills that is very distinctive.

I'll check it out later, but I'm skeptical it would be anything that I regularly use.

Edit/I just listened to the examples and have absolutely no use for this whatsoever.
Y U know like ragu ? :ud:

I'm kind of like , if you have " the classic " ezx and the " reggae " ezx and EZD2 you could put the hihat and snare from reggae ezx into the classic ezx kit and your have a Stewart Copeland sound know ? The Police / Sting for you youngsters here at kvr .

Toontrack are probably very confident that anything that runs EZD 1 will run EZD 2, and that compatibility in projects will be total - if not, they'd be asking for a lot of support issues with their enforced uninstallment of EZD 1.
