It does have a certain hollowness to it that could make it FM, but it's also just a deep filtered bass. You could get very similar results with subtractive.
Try:
OSC 1 - Saw
OSC 2 - Square (-12 semi)
Filter:
Lowpass about 75% down
Envelope send about 40-50% (maybe less)
Filter ENV:
A = 0
D = 40
S = 40
R = 100
Amp ENV:
A = 0
D = 50
S = 90
R = 40
Use the envelopes to shape the body of the sound. The numbers I gave you are just a guide.
Or if you have Massive, copy this (will also apply to other synths.)

To me it sound like the moog voyager with two osc. And the fm or sync on.
If you dont have this synth or the plug in emulators you can take a note from a sample pack that sounds similar and loud it into a sampler.
Also we have a couple of videos that might help. All you would need to do is lower the filer cutoff.

You're over thinking it. Keep things as simple as possible. The bass in that vid is great but it sounds nothing like the one in the OP's link.iamjaycee wrote:anmlsrmnml wrote:To me it sound like the moog voyager with two osc. And the fm or sync on.

Yeah for how good sylenth1 is, its pretty cheap. Good value for money one might say.
