This might have some issues with FL Studio as i have changed the way the GUI is drawn.
But it works fine for me in Orion.

@Sergio
I have sent you a Kvr PM with a link to a special modified version for FL Studio compatibility.
Hope it works for you :)

Nice size, liking the details around the knobs too, still the great sounds, but no Chorus or Delay ?

Pretty good on CPU too. :)

Thank you very much again Kirsty! :tu:
This little beast is working fine and beautiful and it fits my old screen too :clap:
As I love to use it in standalone mode and full screen (thanks to Standalone VSti Host of H.Seib) :phones: I'm just missing me too the internal presence of a delay (maybe stereo...) and chorus effect, but in a daw they can easily added I know...

Thank you very much for your generosity once again. :)

+1 :tu: I think the FL Studio version should be uploaded here, you could lose some followers of this wonderful synth doing things by PM ;)

Also future developments should work on every DAW,so it's very important to have a fully functional universal build ,i'm sure Kirsty will fix this problem anytime.

Wow, this synth seems to be able to produce fantastic sounds and I really would like to patch around with it!
But, I cannot see the GUI in all hosts I tried with. I just got some default GUIs provided by those hosts.
EnergyXT, VSTHost, Mulab Free 32 bit, Cantabile Lite -32 bit
Version 0.58u this is.
Should it work in all hosts or only in Orion and FL Studio?
Or am I doing something wrong...

Post

go back a couple of pages for a download link for the last version - 0.51. It loads the GUI / interface in FL11 perhaps it will work in some of your hosts.

Ive just loaded it up in reaper 32bit for first time and there is no gui, anyone else have this problem. I copied the folder in my vst folder so not sure what the problem is?

Thanks Bob!
With this 0.51 version, GUI opens in XT2. :)

Has anyone read the ReadMe.txt and followed the instructions and then managed to get the GUI to load in programs other than Orion (and FLStudio with the patch).

The program is still beta...

Short answer
{
Because I don't want to risk blowing up all your computers whilst maintaining different
beta test versions of my synthesizer.
};

Long answer
{
I've got most of the functionality that I want in my synthesizer, but as a courtesy to other users and
especially Sergio, who has been very helpful to me, I want to add more features, mainly more
virtual rack slots.
To this end I am experimenting with various ways to achieve this whilst maintaining the integrity of the
user interface. To fit the extra racks on my small laptop screen various concepts come to mind.

Scroll bars
Not very good with dragging patch cords around and visualizing connected modules outside the window. (but zoom in/out might work)
Front to back panel flipping
Front panel = controls. Back panel = patch cords. Works well on Caustic. (I quite like this idea).
Variable sized window
VSTSDK 3.5 -> 4.0 has the ability to change the GUI window size. I could add a setting to effect this
but instead of making the graphics bigger I could just make the window bigger, giving the end user
the choice of 16, 24, 32, 48 or 64 racks. (doable, but is a pig to program).
Workspaces
Similar to Ubuntu's quad screen workspace switcher, but I would connect them all together.
So 4 workspaces each containing 16 racks would connect to make a 64 rack 'monster modular'.
};

The next release should address these issues or you can always download Orion
if you want to play with this version :wink:

Also, I am beefing up the oscillator with variable micro phase,frequency and harmonics for a nice
fat analog sound and looking at writing one of those zero delay feedback (TPF) filters that are listed
on the DSP forum by neotec :) I'd also like to emulate the Korg filter sometime if possible.

Kirsty :)

...so I'm sorry to those of you who would like to try it but are having problems with this current beta release.
I just don't want to get to v1.0 and find it still has issues with some hosts.
