A good sample set of timbales with plenty of ring can be tough to find. The other day we were recording a bunch of live percussion, and took the opportunity to sample the timbales, which are LP Matador Series 14" and 15" steel sheel timbales. You can download the patches for Kontakt here.

You're right, a good ringy timbales is not so easily located I've found. Thanks for this, it fills a gap for me.

Hey Greg, since it not everyone can afford Kontakt, you could do some Maize Sampler VST version?

I can confirm they will load in Kontakt 4.2.4.
