I should point out that the Novation soundbank works with version 924 but I can't get it to work with 925 unfortunately. Is there a new patch.pat for 925 ?

Post

Maybe download the patch update of the Novation soundbank (not the totality of sound)...

Post

Here is a add-on about the 'Patch.pat' function for import a multiple instruments kit very quickly.

First of all, never move a patch.pat file belonging to a soundbank without knowing how it work.
When you load a .fxp that you are downloading, you need to target the patch.pat file of the soundbank and not another !

You can download soundbank from midi mobiles blog :
http://www.midi-mobiles.blogspot.fr

It is normal to have a warning message in the load of a soundbank further to a software update. Resave this afterward on your computer to remove it (.fxp). You can also dowload the patch associated (sometime updated) and replace old .fxp, .fxb

Many people were confused by this !

Good luck.

Do not especially hesitate to correct me on the English user manual translated from the french. I tries to improve it day after day ! :help:

This is a shema where you can see the audio flux in EcolooP

Maybe that this will help to understand the possibilities of routing of the software.

Soon tutorials videos !

Hi chopen, just a note to say that some of my corrections to the manual have room for improvement, and that anyone is free to suggest improvements.
And to clarify, I have only suggested corrections for pages 1-16 at the moment.

Also chopen, I've just realised that attachments are only visible to members who are signed in, whereas posting as an image[img] will show up to anyone viewing the page (as long as the hosting site of the image still hosts the image).

Is your problem with the novation soundbank fixed Bob ? I have the same issue.

Post

Actually the Novation soundbank always worked in SaviHost, I'll try the latest version and patches in the next hour or so. The problem for me was not getting waveform graphics to show in EcoLooP vst in FLStudio on Win7 and therefore getting no sound. Chopen tells me that he has FLStudio on two Win7 PCs and while one works the other doesn't but as yet he is unable to identify the problem or solution.

But as he is busy on other updates and refinements, I'm not chasing the issue.

That is the exact same problem I have here on my WIN7 x64 system in Cubase 5.5.3 x32.
I did not try to bridge it, that is why I used x32 version of Cubase.
The fxp's are loading fine and I can see the segments but the patchfiles are not showing the waveforms...
But on my old laptop WIN7 x32 system with Cubase 5.1 x32 the Ecoloop is working and the waveforms are showing.
There was a tip about a windows framework package or something to download, but that is certainly NOT the solution.

About the Novation soundpack, it must be the patch file, I was not aware that there were updates about that one too.
There shall be a good reason for it maybe, but I think it would be easier to load a pack with just one file instead of lload fxb and patch file, I understand that you do not alter the fxb where you can maybe alter the patch.pat ?

Anyway, still the most mysterious plugin from this contest.

It is - and that's what draws me to it. That, and how I like to witness a driven developer at work, with that work gradually evolving.

The English (american) user manual has just been updated for the first 17 pages. It's more easy for understand the diverse features of the software. The user manual will be completely corrected next week. Bravo to the english teaching who made a good job as Bob Bobwood also made it ! (I tell it at the end)... The 1.937 version is now the official version but I am going to leave the on-line version 1.934 for those who have problems with this one !

This is all the versions of EcolooP available since the 1.924 version :
