Hey guys,
Well, as far as saturation goes, I've been testing Fielding DSP Reviver plugin and loving it.
It's really subtle and offers a high level of control over 2nd and 3rd order harmonics.
Really. Do yourself a favor and try it:

Reviver is another one of those plugs that I really like and was had on the cheap. The problem with having so many is that I'm never quite sure which one I want to use. I know, bad hibidy.

They proudly advertise with some button from Computer Magazine "8 out of 10", but isn't that the worst possible grade in CM?RafaelMorgan wrote:Hey guys,

Back to topic, anyone ever tried STRIP from audiod3ck http://audio.d3ck.net/products/ST-R-I-P ... /ST-R-I-P)?
I kind of like the idea of having a full featured channel strip/console emulation and not only a hi/lo cut like e.g. Satson. It seems to lack a VU meter though...

Nebula sounds great, but I wouldn't use it for realtime mixing on multiple instances. You could process each track first with a console emulation and then start mixing. To put it afterwards doesn't make sense,as it will change the mix and mixing with it with all nebula instances will put your pc in the knees, I m quite sure even an i7realmarco wrote:hibidy wrote:Well, what I read about nebula is it's the bomb, but it's too much of a resource hog even on powerful computers. I've never tried it because with all the complaining, it just seemed like I'd probably get my hopes up for kick ass sound and then be pissed about all the problems.
the is a free version called "nebula free" has alot of good stuff except at pitch-bend effects like Chorus, flanging and Vibrato.
you should hear the Phasers, the best phasers i've ever heard in a plugin.
with the commercial version, If u wanted, u could even clone a Slate-plugin's preset
