I thought he only had one hit, that's a huge return :o

Some people are really racking in the cash in the music biz:

If you're assuming that's all royalties, then that's a big number. The clue's in the title of the article – it's a DJ list.

Getting a lot of bookings though, but just checked his Discogs listing, he's put out quite a bit of tracks during the last couple of years.

He's earning as much as Tïesto :o

I suspect he didn't.

Wasn't Avicii Swedish? In the ABBA days you'd pay 104% tax in the top bracket ;-)

Well he saved some money too, like not paying for Sylenth :P

Since when are Avicii and Calvin Harris DJs? They might make a live gig but for me a real DJ is someone like Paul van Dyk or David Guetta or DJ Antoine...

Post

David Guetta is no 2 on the list isn't he?

Wow! Who is like him? Who can make war with him?

Adam Richard Wiles (born 17 January 1984), better known by his stage name Calvin Harris, is a Scottish DJ, singer-songwriter, and producer.
DJ = Disk Jockey, that is someone playing records. Over time the definition has drifted to a musician / stage artist with one ear on the headphones while twisting knobs and waving to the public.

Sorry, I see no difference...

Maybe he can now even afford buying Sylenth
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

Neither Calvin Harris nor Avicii were DJs. Calvin Harris made his first dubstep songs on his AMIGA computer in the bed room in the house of his parents in Dumfries, as well as his first dance album "I Created Disco"...he didn't work as DJ at all...

Avicii earned was given $28 million last year
Fixed.
