Finally, after some years in the dark the all-new FilterGrizzly 2 is available as free filter VST plugin! Rich on character and warmth, the completely overworked filter module is loaded with a tube-based filter drive unit for saturation, followed by an analog modelled 4-pole lowpass and 2-pole highpass filter with a passive controlled feedback circuit! The FilterGrizzly2 gives you nearly one-to-one the filter of the upcoming MonoGrizzly 2 synthesizer, all informations about that you can find here: http://shop.cfa-sound.com/coming-soon-monogrizzly-2-0/

All samples in the demo are taken from the http://www.resonance-sound.com/product/ ... tion-vol-3 - SOR Minimal Techno Revolution Vol.3 sample pack!

- 2x oversampling and anti-aliasing algorithm
- tube-based filter drive unit
- classic analog ladder filter design
- 4-pole lowpass and 2-pole highpass filter

I asked about this in another thread and, according to CFA, they will release an updated version of Drumgrizzly.alvfaria wrote:Thanks!
Any chance to see drumgrizzly doing a comeback?

No worry DrumGrizzly will come back. Atm MonoGrizzly 2 is on the plugin area the priority, there are not many things left to do (only factory presets, demo track, manual).
After that comes DrumGrizzly, but this will be difficult... because the new version should be able to play also tonal via keytracking instead of only a fixed pitch value. And that`s tricky, because the oscillators of the DrumGrizzly were completely build so eating only static input. But i think it will be do-able... soon
And there is also a lot more open to do (improving other elements, reducing cpu/ram usage, GUI redesign to the new V2 look, factory presets, maybe some new additional minor features etc).

Thanks for the freebie. Already have a lot of filters, but... another one can't hurt. Right?
Off to check it out now.
