It was put up as freeware 2 years ago, but all the links are now dead. Thanks.

I've been looking for Mothman Z3000 since June. Seems like Justin Robert has vanished and took every trace of Mothman Z3000 with him! No one on the Old Free VSTi Gems From The Past thread had a clue either. But SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE...!

:dog: Oops, cancel that.
Clicking on it just produces

Well he's playing a gig in Manhattan tomorrow, so he's alive at least!

Hello Frank!
Hello Jesus!

Unfortunately, I have not Mothman Z3000. And Justin Robert (his real name is Justin Wierbonski) is totally impossible to join.

He has changed several times the address of his blog, and currently the new address (hosted by Google) loops when we try to get it.

I have also tried with the Wayback Machine (at archive.org), but his blog has never been caught by the scanner, because of the robot rules which were placed on this blog.

I have found his Google+ profile, and I have placed him in my "followed" contacts (now... it will be validated only if he accepts). If he accepts, I'll try to ask him how we can now retrieve his old VST synths. Others of you could try too...

I know that he is very busy. Not sure that he will accept to make the job to send me (or us) his old zip files... And even if yes I'm not sure that he will do it as quickly as we would like...

Here is another interesting page when one of us will have managed to get one of his versions of Mothman:

Some of his stuff seems to be available for download at the above link.

I don't see the one you've requested though.

Yes, I knew this one. It was before the version Z3000. And even the version Z2000 was not a freeware at this time (see the page you gave), it was a cheapware, yes... but not freeware, and you had to pay it (by Paypal) to download it.

Just after that page, he had his website here:
http://justinrobert.wordpress.com/
It is this one which was in use when he outed the Z3000. And it is also this one which was in use when he converted all his license to freewares in 2012... and which has never been crawled by archive.org for reason of robots.

He had also a blog... which still exists but which is in access only on authorization by him.

Hello everyone again

That's it! We have all the collection!

I've tried a solution... which has worked!

Look at the discussion at the bottom of the detail page:
http://www.kvraudio.com/product/mothman ... rt#gid3339

The four synths are in the zip file. I have tried them all... All work perfectly!

And don't forget the page that I mentioned here, some posts ago.

When you are in that page, click the menu "File" > "Download"
("Download" is at the bottom of the menu)

It allows you to download a 12 Mb zip file containing nice examples of what can be done with Mothman 1000 and with Mothman Z3000.
