the waveform could bve saw or square, but make sure you have ADSR, with short Decay and sustain

Saw, maybe 3, all an octave apart, detuned, with a big unison and a very short decay.
This, too followed a really pumping compressor.

It's some saw or pulse waves detuned or round through a chorus with a short amp envelope. That is all. The punchiness in both these examples comes from the fact that the sound is layered over a snare drum. It's also ducking the snare pretty dramatically.
