Geez, the detail work in these themes is insane. That's a ridiculous amount of work. The Cubase one is... almost creepy. :borg:

That's kind of amazing actually and brings back memories of my beloved NL2. It's the one hardware synth I never should've sold.

I don't use Logic but wow! Those are fabulous.

I use Logic X, but I did not even know of this "customizing" possibility. These "themes" are beautiful, but how does it work? Where to put them? Is that an easy thing to do, like "drag and drop" in some Logic folder? Are there any risks (messing/loss of the original factory data, decrease of performance etc.)? What if I want to come back to factory settings? Sorry for my dumb/naive sounding questions. Thanks.

the protools theme is stunning :o

Your skins are gorgeous, but I personally would love a theme that would consolidate evrything (processing plug-ins, instruments, mixer, arrangemente, etc.) with consistent and lokk alike controls. Logic is now a mess, with several generations of "skins" mixed, and I would love something that created some notion of "universality" to this mess.

Having an ES 2 that look like a Nord lead, and a EXS 24 that look like a Elektro, together with the ES 1 that look like... green, and the ES line that look like (whatever they look like), the processors that look like blueish, then the Delay Designer and Reverb that look like white, the Sculpture that look like Sculpture, the drum machine that looks different (again), the new synth that look different (again - more closer to the new mixer) and the mentioned new mixer, and the new arrangement, together with the old Environment...

welll, you got the picture, I think.

Hi there

Changing the Logic X GUI is not a designed function but it is not too difficult. There is a good resource here on how to install and some free themes

https://logicxinterfaces.wordpress.com/

But I like Matthews themes the best...

I use the Logic Theme switcher to change themes and its very easy:

https://logicxinterfaces.wordpress.com/ ... -switcher/

You should save a original folder of anything you change but I think Logic Theme switcher does it for you...

Seeing as these are just swapping files it seems to not be any problems with the Logic system.

Well - this is a huge job to cover every aspect and some things like Ultrabeat cannot really be altered...if you would love a theme running universally - what style?

Matthew does a nice Neve theme and has done the Neve effect plugin and EXS24 also which is the most complete solution...

The guys who do this are still experimenting with what can and can be changed so its a work in progress - and they are working in the dark in terms of what can be altered and understanding how Logic X arranges its GUI and plugins...

I am acting a little in Matthews voice because he is Polish but Ive been watching this mod scene from the start :)

Yes, I understand, and frankly, I can't believe someone would take that in his own hands and expect some reasonable compensation of such an hard work. It should be an Apple task to uniformize all aspects of the GUI, instead of presenting things half done.

Regarding the style - I like the current style of the mixer and arrangement, except maybe for the brownish background. But I would not mind a complete style based on the Sculpture GUI - I think that one is gorgeous.
