Yep! that must be a direct link to an MP3 file (or OGG file, I guess...)

Perhaps it needs to be added that Flash is required for that to work.bezusheist wrote:insert your mp3 link between the and and it will appear as the music player...

I tried this with Soundcloud but it doesn't seem to work.
Do I need to remove some text at the start?
Thanks

You dont need the [URL] container for soundcloud player tracks.Hemmick Reef wrote:I tried this with Soundcloud but it doesn't seem to work.

Sorry to hijack this, but why is it that most of the time, the player won't play? Problems on the server containing the music? Or is it the play itself which doesn't work 100%? Using Firefox here, if that matters, and in 60% of the cases, the music won't play when i click it. I have to add though that i use the NoScript addon in Firefox, maybe i have to allow scripts for the server containing the music also?

Maybe you added a https to your URL. It needs to be http afaik. Edit: Oh, i see you're talking about the Soundcloud player now. Thought you meant the forum audio player, nevermind then.

KVR does the rest.
I checked the link in your sig to see if I could use one of your tracks, and the fact that it says "mechanism hasn’t shared any public sounds" makes me wonder if that's your problem, though.
