Plughugger releases "Inferno" for Omnisphere 2 with Intro Offer

Plughugger has released Inferno, a new soundset for Spectrasonics Omnisphere which sets the focus on dark and cinematic sounds.

The inspiration for the soundset came from one of the most extreme sounds in Omnisphere: the sound of a burning piano. Recorded for Spectrasonics Omnisphere by sound designer Diego Stocco, the Burning Piano is a unique collection of recordings capturing various phases of an actual piano set on fire, including gas torches and the strings and wires snapping under the intense heat.

Inferno is a soundset based on nothing else than these burning piano recordings and the result is a collection of cinematic dystopian sounds, inspired by games such as Dishonoured and the Blade Runner movies. The character is dark, moody, but at the same time organic.

Inferno contains 200 sounds in the following categories:

  • 17 Arpeggios and Sequences.
  • 20 Hits, Boomers and Effects.
  • 2 Noisescapes.
  • 9 Pads and Strings.
  • 25 Synth Sounds (Poly, Plucked and Mono).
  • 77 Textures and Soundscapes.

Plus 50 Multi sounds combining the Single sounds into more complex sounds.

Price: 4.90 Euro until the 21st of January. Use coupon code JANUARYMEGADEAL to get the discount. Ordinary price is 19.90 Euro.
